“Plantbased Papi” shows the world vegan versions of many popular dishes such as the “McRib, “lobster” ravioli, “calamari” and much, MUCH more (just check out his Instagram!). This pop-up restaurant is located in Portland and is constantly pushing the bounds of vegan cuisine.

A family-owned coffee shop that prides itself on abundantly bold and rich flavors of coffee from places around the world including Vietnam, the Dominican Republic and Brazil. Equiano works closely with the farming ecosystem that grows the coffee beans to ensure that its coffee is both sustainable and fairly sourced.

Po’Shines is a cajun soul food restaurant with three different locations in Portland. Po'shines' standout seafood and classics such as fried okra, red beans and rice and hush puppies have earned them a household name in Portland, but their mission goes beyond eating. The restaurant also offers a community program, called “Teach Me to Fish,” that teaches both culinary and life skills to its participants.

Depending on how bad your sweet tooth is, you may or may not want to check out Treats By B and her delicious vegan and keto-friendly sweet tooth options. Her recent pop-ups in Portland have included mini churros with an horchata glaze and caramel apple tarts at the top of the menu, and who knows what is to come in the future.

Pinky Cole is the owner of “The Slutty Vegan,” a restaurant in Atlanta with plant-based and vegetarian soul food options. The website has a ton of vegan foodie-inspired merch, an all-purpose vegan seasoning called “Slut Dust,” and snacks you can order from home. Cole also runs “Pinky Gives Back,” a foundation that works to provide folks with financial literacy and guidance through the world of business.

Kayla Greer is a personal chef located in Los Angeles who can whip up almost anything you put on her menu. Greer creates anything from delicious, health-conscious meal plans, to fried chicken and macaroni. Her artful food has been eaten by celebrities such as DJ Mustard, P. Diddy, and the Migos, so we KNOW she’s invited to the cookout.

Shelonte is a vegan and plant-based chef in Southern California who is constantly experimenting to create vegan dupes of people’s favorite dishes. Her “Sunday Soul Food” menu featuring vegan cornbread, fried lemon pepper mushrooms, creamed corn, and mac n’ cheese will definitely make people consider trying veganism… at least for a meal.

Marley Mauvais offers plant-based recipes for beginners to try. Her Instagram is a great guide for people who have been curious about what plant-based has to offer but don’t want complicated recipes. Her page is filled with vibrant fruit, energetic posts, and healing recipes.
